Hampton Beach 2016 Seafood Festival

Normally, the summer beach season ends on Labor Day but, not on the New Hampshire Seacoast. The weekend after Labor Day is reserved for the biggest event of the summer, the Hampton Beach Seafood Festival. People are already starting to make plans to attend the 27th annual Festival, September 9th through the 11th, 2016.

Seafood in all of its spectacular glory is obviously the main draw of the festival but the thousands of visitors to the seacoast also enjoy great music, cooking demonstrations, kids entertainment, crafts and hopefully beautiful weather. Previous years other activities have included Fireworks and Sky Diving demonstrations. Over fifty local restaurants participate every year not only to show off their fine cuisine but also compete to be named the best in several categories such as Best Lobster Roll, Best Chowder, Best Bisque, Best Spirit, Best Desert, and Freshest Catch.
If you have enjoyed Hampton Beach during the summer you will be amazed at the transformation the beach goes through to celebrate Seafood. Ocean Boulevard is closed for miles to create a safe pedestrian promenade along the water lined with tent after tent of delicacies. Parking and shuttles are available to the Seafood Festival from numerous satellite locations to make getting in and out the event easier on everyone.
Please make plans to attend this fantastic event and stay with us here at the Hampshire Inn. Our guests enjoy the proximately of the beach and then the quiet inexpensive get away of our suites. Every suite has a mini-refrigerator and microwave to store and save your catch from the Festival. Please call us at (603) 474-5700 to make reservations or if you have any questions regarding the Seafood Festival or how to sign up early for the Lobster Roll Eating Contest where everyone is a winner because you are eating great food.
Congratulations to the Seafood Festival organizer and hundreds of volunteers for being named one of the Top 100 Events in North America 6 separate times. That is not a fluke that is a World Class Event.
